Define marks ranges and grade points for your institution.
Formula: SGPA = Σ(Grade Points × Credit) ÷ Σ(Credit)
Each subject has a CIE (Continuous Internal Evaluation) component and a SEE (Semester End Exam) component. We convert your scores to grade points based on your grading scale, then calculate the weighted average.
Example: If you have a subject with CIE: 35/50, SEE: 75/100, and 3 credits, with a grading scale where 90-100 marks = 10 points, this subject contributes (10 × 3) = 30 grade points to your SGPA calculation.
Formula: CGPA = Σ(SGPA) ÷ Number of Semesters
Your CGPA is the average of all your semester SGPAs. Simply enter your SGPA from each semester, and we'll calculate your cumulative GPA.
Note: Some universities use credit-weighted CGPA, which can be more accurate if you have different credit totals per semester. Check with your institution for their specific method.
